Sellerpoint: multichannel selling in one interface

CPI Technologies built Sellerpoint from the ground up: a platform where e-commerce sellers manage orders, inventory, and fulfillment across all their marketplaces in one place. Today it routes tens of thousands of orders a day – and CPI holds a stake in the company.

The Starting Point

From consulting know-how to a SaaS business

Sellerpoint was founded by Nicklas Spelmeyer – a successful e-commerce seller himself and founder of Ecommerce.de, whose team advises more than 2,000 merchants across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The expertise around marketplaces and fulfillment was already there, but it was being sold as a service. What was missing was a scalable platform to turn that knowledge into a SaaS business.

The product brief: sellers active on several marketplaces at once struggle with scattered orders, inventory drifting out of sync, and fulfillment processes that work differently on every channel. Sellerpoint had to bring all of it into a single interface – from the first order to the shipped parcel.

Our Approach

Product, team, and infrastructure

CPI developed the backend and frontend from scratch and owned the entire product design – from the data model for orders, inventory, and listings to the interface sellers use to run all their sales channels.

In parallel, we helped build an in-house development team that has been evolving the platform alongside CPI resources ever since. The infrastructure was designed to scale regardless of shop size or order volume – a decision that pays off at today's throughput.

The Platform

What's inside Sellerpoint

The core building blocks – made for sellers who trade on several channels at once.

Multichannel connectivity

Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Otto, Kaufland, and Etsy via API – orders from every channel converge in a single order overview.

Fulfillment integrations

Generic fulfillment processes with connections to multiple providers – including inventory sync with the logistics partner.

Analytics dashboards

Metrics for revenue, traffic, advertising, and fulfillment – down to per-marketplace performance reports.

Shop builder

A drag-and-drop builder that lets sellers set up and customize their own online store without developers.

Profit & returns

A profit calculator and returns management show what is actually left after fees, shipping, and returned orders.

Amazon data import

Automated import of Amazon data for listings, key metrics, and product research.

The Outcome

From client project to equity partnership

Sellerpoint launched as an all-in-one platform: product management, sales and traffic analytics, shop builder, and marketplace integrations in one system. More than 500 active users worked with the first release, and over 25 people on the CPI and client side contributed to the build.

In December 2022, CPI acquired 7% of the company's shares – the development project became a partnership. CPI has been on board as technical advisor and shareholder ever since.

Today

The middleware between marketplaces and logistics

Sellerpoint GmbH, based in Berlin, has sharpened the platform's focus: it now positions itself as the middleware between sales channels and logistics. Amazon, Shopify, Otto, Kaufland, eBay, and Etsy connect directly via API – setup takes about a minute per marketplace. Through Shopify, channels like Decathlon, MediaMarkt, and Shop Apotheke plug in as well.

On the logistics side, ready-made integrations exist for JTL and Xentral, and the team connects nearly any other system directly. Orders flow automatically from every marketplace into fulfillment, and stock levels sync in real time. More than 250 brands rely on Sellerpoint – with tens of thousands of orders running through the platform every day.
