The challenge
The staffing and temp work industry ran on fragmented channels: phone chains, emails, paper applications, and manual coordination. Employers needed suitable staff faster, job seekers expected a modern mobile experience — and staffing agencies lacked a central platform for their candidates.
SAY! had to serve all three sides, each with very different needs: job seekers who want to show what they can do — without a resume or cover letter. Companies that want to post open positions in minutes and spot fitting applicants right away. And staffing agencies that list their own workforce and win contracts through the platform.
Our approach
We developed the entire concept and platform from scratch: a three-sided marketplace with AI-powered matching. The algorithm compares skill profiles, preferences, and location — a matching score instantly shows both sides how well they fit.
Skill profiles replace the resume: a guided onboarding captures abilities in under three minutes, and applicants stay anonymous until they actively apply. When both sides say yes, the application chat starts right inside the app. Native iOS and Android apps are complemented by web dashboards for companies and staffing agencies; the backend handles real-time notifications and automated matching on GDPR-compliant EU servers.
The results
SAY has placed more than 100,000 jobs since launch, establishing itself as a modern alternative to classic job boards and temp staffing routines: no phone chains, no paperwork, and a significantly shorter time to hire.
Today SAY! is rolling out as a regional job matching platform in Südbaden, Germany — free for job seekers, with free job postings for companies and a regional partner program for chambers, trade associations, and municipalities. Placements span sectors like warehousing, skilled trades, care, manufacturing, and hospitality — both permanent roles and temp work.
