The Challenge
Precious metals are considered stable and liquid — but for retail investors, getting there used to be tedious: comparing dealers, working out denominations, arranging storage. And the strategy professionals use to squeeze extra return out of gold and silver — deliberately switching between the two along the gold-silver ratio — remained effectively out of reach for private customers.
Metawyze set out to put exactly that into a single app: buying, selling, and automatically switching between gold and silver, with the trustworthiness of a financial application and the simplicity of a modern fintech product. What they needed was a partner to deliver the complete product — not just the interface.
Our Approach
CPI Technologies delivered Metawyze end to end: backend infrastructure, real-time market data integration, the app's UI design, and an onboarding website for user acquisition — plus marketing consulting and go-to-market strategy.
The gold-silver ratio sits at the core: users deposit funds via bank transfer or crypto wallet, set their preferred allocation between the two metals, and adjust it at any time. The autopilot engine — branded "Switch Pilot" in the product — then rebalances by rule, with no need to place every order by hand.

The Result
Metawyze launched in 2023 as a mobile-optimized investment platform for iOS and Android, available in English, German, and Spanish. The clean, dark interface takes users from onboarding to their first purchase in just a few steps.
Behind the simple surface sits a full-fledged fintech product: portfolio holdings in grams, physically backed by bars from certified producers in LBMA-recognized vaults, with regular independent audits on top. Rebalancing along the gold-silver ratio — traditionally a professionals' tool — came down to a few taps, or none at all on autopilot.
