Intokia: Regulated fundraising through security tokens

CPI Technologies designed, built, and launched the complete Intokia STO platform – website, tokenization platform, and project launcher. Today it connects European SMEs with retail investors, operated by an MFSA-licensed investment firm.

Starting point

Raising capital meets regulation

In 2019, businesses were looking for new ways to raise capital while investors wanted access to digital investment products. What was missing was infrastructure that brought both sides together in a regulatorily sound way – without usability becoming the obstacle.

That was the brief for CPI Technologies: build scalable infrastructure from scratch to support businesses and investors with tokenization – and deliver a platform that ensures regulatory compliance while staying genuinely easy to use.

Our approach

From market analysis to launch

CPI specialists owned every aspect of the project – market analysis, branding, and UI/UX design through to the implementation of every technical component.

On top of that came a broad feature set: users invest in projects or raise capital themselves and can trade tokens through a licensed exchange – all wrapped in a consistently simple user experience.

The building blocks

What we built for Intokia

Three components, one system: website, tokenization platform, and project launcher cover the full journey from issuance to investment.

STO issuance

Security token offerings as a regulated way to raise capital – the foundation of the entire platform.

Project launcher

Companies present their venture, list it on the platform, and raise capital from a broad base of investors.

Investment flow

Investing in tokenized projects in just a few steps – built for retail investors, not just professionals.

Investor onboarding

Registration and onboarding process that gives investors access to the active offerings.

Trading via licensed exchange

Tokens don't stay locked up: trading through a licensed exchange was part of the concept from day one.

Branding & UI/UX

Brand identity, website, and interface design also came from CPI – one product, cast from a single mold.

Just as clear on the go

The platform is fully responsive: onboarding, project overview, and the investment flow stay fully usable on a smartphone – essential for an audience that doesn't sit at a Bloomberg terminal.

Results

Launched in 2019 – still live today

Designed, developed, and launched: a comprehensive platform spanning website, tokenization platform, and project launcher that lets both businesses and individual investors navigate modern investments with ease and confidence.

Intokia is live today, operated by Van Sterling Capital Ltd, an investment firm licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). The platform connects European SMEs with retail investors through regulated security token offerings, implemented via BaFin-authorized securities information sheets (WIB) and distributed under the MiFID II framework.

Intokia is one of the projects running on MICCA, CPI's own tokenization suite – and intokia.com lists CPI Technologies among its partners to this day.
